Boat colours and boat names
Standard color
The standard color for Swift boats is white hull and canvas decks, with black tips for the bow and stern, and black trim on the saxboard tops and wave breaker. Deck tape is black. We use 3 coats of a UV resistant polyurethane paint to help protect your boat.
All Elite Carbon, Elite Plus and Elite boats, and also Club A 1s are clear finished in the cockpit area, showing the weave of the carbon cloth. All other boats’ cockpits are finished in white.
For custom colors we offer 3 choices;

Please note; we use the word "trim" to explain all the black parts on the boat. All other parts (hull, bow canvas & stern canvas) we call "main".

Please note that the colors shown here are only very approximate representations. If the choice of color is very important, then you should check the color using the RAL numbers listed above.
Elite carbon
Elite Carbon boats are also white with black trim, but as an option, they can be finished in 3 coats of a UV resistant polyurethane paint that is clear, to show the weave of the carbon cloth, and have the same black trim as our other boats. Ask agent about extra cost.
For an additional charge (ask agent for details), we are able to apply your chosen boat name on the bows of your boat prior to packing and shipping, but you MUST make sure to inform us of your choice of name when ordering.
We use 5cm tall, black letters in Arial font. Be sure to specify upper and lower case letters.
Sectional Boats
All eights are sectional boats (2 pieces), in line with FISA's rules of racing. All other boats, singles, doubles and fours can be built as 1 pieceboats, or for easy transportation and storage as 2 piece boats. There is an additional charge for sections in singles, doubles and fours, and extra sections in eights (ask agent for details). There will be an increase in boat weight of approximately 1kg for singles and doubles, and 2kg for fours and eights.
Coxed Boats
All eights are stern coxed boats, in line with FISA's rules of racing. Fours can be built as either top coxed/front loaders, or as stern coxed boats. |
