Safety

We are committed to the highest quality construction standards and equally committed to providing the safest boats possible. Every boat we build has enclosed bow and stern compartments. The are under the seat deck area is also enclosed for improved buoyancy, with a bulkhead for every 2 rowing spaces, meaning that even if the hull is holed, water can only enter one part of the boat. It was also safety that determined our choice of standard boat color. A capsized white boat being relatively easy to recognise.

We have a purpose built 20m long tank at the factory for buoyancy testing.  Swift boats surpass FISA buoyancy requirements and guidelines.

Winning races is fine, but we want all of our rowers to not only be safe, but to be reassured about their safety.
