Coxmate
Any of the Coxmate products listed below, including the control units, can be sent to any customer in any country, but only if
ordered with a boat. If you are interested in buying any Coxmate products without a boat, please contact your local Coxmate distributor,
or contact Coxmate if there is no local distributor.
There are 4 options to choose from;
- Option 1
- With no electronics. There will be no electronics at all, and no bungs.
- Option 2
- Wiring ready, with Coxmate bungs fitted, so you can fit your own wiring.
There will be no electronics at all, but we will install bungs at various points in the seat deck, so that wiring can be kept under the seat deck, out of the way, but the speakers and control unit can be above the seat deck, where you need them. Swift boats have enclosed seat decks, and we also build in bulkheads at every 2 rowing spaces, so that in the event that a boat is “holed”, while on the water, only one section of the boat can be flooded. Bungs will also be installed into these bulkheads. - Option 3
- With wiring, speakers, impellers, as appropriate.
The same as Option 2, except that we will also install the wiring, including speakers, seat magnets, mounting brackets, and impellers, as appropriate. - Option 4
- With a complete system, including the control unit.
The same as Option 3, except that we will also include the control unit.

| The Coxmate SCT is an evolution of the Coxmate SC. It has a tough ABS waterproof enclosure with the unique Coxmate magnetic mounting base. Which HC-Mtg-Kit do you need?
The seat sensor and the auxiliary button will be positioned for the person who is going to look at the unit. The auxiliary button will be positioned close to his/her foot/leg, and the seat sensor will be under his/her seat, or the adjacent (next) seat. The wire for the button and the seat sensor is a fixed length. The speed pick up is then run to a position about 4.6m from bow waterline (the exact distance is not critical). This position is chosen mostly for convenience, and some people may wish to mount it elsewhere. For example, in an eight you would mount it aft of the section. We offer 3 lengths for speed pick up; 0.6m, 2m and 5m, and generally the following would be used:
- Scull:
- 0.6m
- Double/Pair;
- 2m
- Four/quad;
- (bow cox)/bow/2....2m
- Four/quad;
- (stern cox)/stroke/3...5m
- Eight:
- bow/2 ....2m
- Eight:
- all others 5m
Please note that all 8s will be fitted with 4 speakers, and all 4s with 2 speakers.
